Phacelia belongs to the Hydrophyllaceae family. Especially beekeepers know it as a bee-friendly plant.
Phacelia can also be used as a green cover or ground cover. When sowing between 15 July and 15 August, the crop no longer blooms, there is no need to fear seed storage and there is good ground cover. The emergence strongly depends on the sowing conditions and the sowing depth (optimum 1 cm). In good growing conditions, the soil is covered quickly and weed suppression is good. The crop freezes very easily.
